About Grupês
uPlayback is a Grupês product. Below we answer, directly, the questions a financial institution asks before trusting anyone with its recordings archive.
Grupês has been integrating recording and compliance in Portuguese financial institutions for more than three decades. uPlayback came out of that work, not from a blank page, but from a real problem seen from the inside, in real audits. We know the recordings archive from the point of view of those who have to answer to the regulator, because that is the ground we have always worked on.
What we do is concrete. We take in the recordings your operation already produces, in voice, chat and email, and turn them into a single archive, searchable and auditable, under the jurisdiction you choose. We are not a consultancy that advises and leaves. We are the people who build it, migrate the history, and are still on the other end when the phone rings.

Leading financial institutions in the Portuguese market. Until we have written authorisation from each of them to publish their name, we refer to them anonymously. We do not list logos for the sake of listing them, and anyone who trusts their archive to someone deserves that same care with their own name.
Wherever you decide: on your own servers (on-premises), in a European private cloud, or in a sovereign national cloud. The choice defines the jurisdiction the data answers to. It is your decision, not something we impose.
Encryption at rest and in transit, profile-based access inherited from your identity management, and a tamper-proof audit trail that logs every access and every export. These controls are implemented as standard, not an extra to be bought.
It is under way. We would rather say so plainly than present it as complete before it is. When it is issued, we will put the date on this page. In the meantime, the controls the standard requires are already in place.
It comes in. Migrating the history is a one-off project, planned with you, in which what already exists is imported while keeping the metadata that underpins retention and the audit trail. The past does not lose its trail when the archive changes.
